After a media mogul refuses to retire (as expected) on his 80th birthday and name a successor to his wealthy empire, Logan Roy pits the various greedy and selfish members of his family against each other as they all vie for position in the company.

Everyone is Succession is an awful person and that is entirely the point. Watching the uber-rich politically and professionally devour each other for personal gain makes for extraordinary viewing.

With outrageous characters and snappy dialogue akin to the work of Aaron Sorkin, every line feels perfectly venomous as family members manipulate and betray one another. The cast is phenomenal with Brian Cox leading as Logan and Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook and Matthew Macfadyen all putting in awards worthy performances as well.

Succession isn't just the best family drama right now, it's one of the best shows right now. It is Shakespearean in its scope, Tarantino in its delivery and it looks like the high quality is only going to continue.
