Netflix meets YouTube in this series, which is a move that makes a hell of a lot of sense whether you're a fan of Miranda Sings, don't like her, or have never heard of it before.

Miranda, played by Colleen Ballinger-Evans on her YouTube channel, is a comically talentless persona who sings and dances badly, gives tutorials, and all that other typical YouTube stuff, but in a way that satirises all those unaware people who post videos thinking it'll lead to fame, despite them being pretty terrible.

The series will similarly focus on Miranda Sings, but also delve into her oddball family life. The YouTube series has surpassed 1bn views, making this seem like a no-brainer for Netflix, with a built-in audience and a star who, unlike the character, actually is talented and on the rise.

Again, no release date on this one, but late-2016/early-2017 seems likely.
