Talking of Katey Sagal and her family, did you know that the woman behind Gemma Teller-Morrow is a part of a large and impressive showbiz clan? Catherine Louise Sagals father was the late Boris Sagal, a noted television and film director, while her mother Sara Macon was a television writer and producer. Her brother Joey Sagal, on the other hand, is an actor too - amongst his many supporting role over the years, Joey had a cameo as a doctor in season six of Sons Of Anarchy.
Katey also has twin younger sisters, Barbara Jean and Elizabeth Sagal. Jean and Liz would both retire from acting in television in the mid-nineties to pursue a career behind the camera like their parents. Jean mostly works as a director and producer, but Liz became one of the creative linchpins of Sons Of Anarchy under her brother-in-law Kurt as an executive story editor and producer, and also co-wrote ten episodes of the show with him.
