It's probably fair to call Love's second season more of the same, but thanks to consistently strong work from Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust as the central on-off couple, that's no bad thing.

With its prickly, arguably unlikeable protagonists, Love won't be for everyone, but Jacobs and Rust's unconventional chemistry and charming supporting work from Claudia O’Doherty should keep most bingeing all the way to the finish line.

Love's second season didn't build on the first in any major way, but maintained dramatic and comedic consistency as it further explored Mickey and Gus' would-be relationship.

Many fans have commented that the show doesn't seem to have much longevity, so it makes sense that the upcoming third season, planned to premiere in March, will be its last.
