6. Band Candy
It's always a treat when Giles, the patriarch of the Scooby Gang, gets to unwind a little bit. Which is something he certainly does here. In fact, most of the characters (and some of the audience as well) were probably ready for him to get wound back up by the end of the episode. In Band Candy, Ethan Rayne shows back up in town and is ready for some crazy shenanigans, as per usual. His plan involves magical candy that will make regular adults regress to their teenage selves. And as stupid and silly as that might sound, it's actually hilarious. How can you not stare at the screen with a combination of disgust and amusement as Buffy watches her mom and Giles start to get busy on the hood of a cop car? Or when Principal Snyder is desperately trying to be a part of the cool group?
