20 Best South Park Episodes Ever

4. You're Getting Old (Season 15, Episode 7)

South Park Trapped In The Closet
Comedy Central

It may not be the funniest South Park episode ever, but it sure is the most emotionally resonant and true to life.

Though Stone and Parker's examination of the generational gap is one thing, it's Stan's growing cynicism that proved surprisingly touching and powerful, especially the end of the episode, where his depression isn't simply cured in time for the next one.

As a clear commentary on the show itself, it's shockingly brave, and above all else, it features probably the cleverest use of fecal matter in TV history. If you never thought a South Park episode could give you a lump in your throat, think again, especially during that final montage set to Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide."

Best Moment: A poo-laced fake trailer for Adam Sandler's infamous movie Jack and Jill...which many fans didn't even think was a real movie.
