20 Best South Park Episodes Ever
14. Mr Hankey The Christmas Poo (Season 1, Episode 9)
This is an undeniable early South Park classic and one of the best Christmas episodes of any TV series, with the hilarious titular character being introduced and becoming an instant mascot for the show.
It's a distinctly Jewish episode which genuinely realises a lot of Kyle's anxiety about being a Jew on Christmas (especially through the song, "The Lonely Jew on Christmas"), and one of the series' very first glimpses of social satire, mocking political correctness run amok as South Park tries to cater to every single religious belief all at once.
There's even a live-action Mr. Hankey toy commercial near the end of the episode, and of course, it originated the infamous "Kyle's Mom is a Big Fat B****" song. What's not to love?
Best Moment: Mr. Hankey makes his triumphant first appearance, diving out of Kyle's toilet, shouting, "Howdy ho!" and breaking into song while smearing poo around the bathroom. Cut back to reality and Kyle's parents find him holding the smudged poo remains in hands. It's glorious.
