20 Best Superhero TV Show Performances Ever

15. Dan Stevens As David Haller/Legion

With the likes of The Boys and Gotham throwing genre stereotypes out the window, there may not be such a thing as a typical superhero TV show anymore, however Legion is possibly the strangest, most bizarre, and furthest from what may be considered traditional.

As David Haller, a man with often crippling mental struggles and almost limitless power, Dan Stevens is able to bring to life a character like none other on this list. He is able to balance every aspect of Haller's personality and what being so misunderstood can do to the mind.

He can seem scared to an almost child-like degree, before transitioning into intimidating, arrogant, or even unhinged and suicidal. As the son of Charles Xavier, naturally there would be a lot of eyes on Stevens' performance, which he handles with incredible commitment, while looking like he is having the time of his life.

A show this ambitious and off the wall needs to have a lead to embrace its differences and outlandishness, and in Dan Stevens, Legion couldn't have done any better.
