13. WandaVision

Made For Love
Marvel Studios

The first of the MCU's Disney shows, WandaVision is an absolute revelation front-to-back, even if it slightly drops the ball in its final act. It follows Wanda Maximoff and a recently-deceased Vision as they become trapped in an inexplicable fantasyland.

At once an enrapturing portrayal of grief, power and mourning, the miniseries' strongest asset comes from its execution, which finds each episode taking the form of a beloved sitcom as Wanda slowly realises something's amiss with her fractured existence.

WandaVision also benefits exponentially from its stars, particularly a troubled and hilarious Elizabeth Olsen, and blends its heavy themes with breezy sitcom homages, stunning costume design, and awesome twists.

For a franchise so accustomed to a set narrative formula, WandaVision is undeniably a refreshing triumph for the MCU that effortlessly lives up to the hype it's created.
