Episode: Red Sees Red

Charo became a well-known TV personality in the 1970s for her numerous appearances on talk shows and variety hours, such as Donna & Marie, The Captain and Tennille and the short-lived Brady Bunch Variety Hour.

The episode Red Sees Red makes a satirical skit on the latter show called The Forman Bunch Variety Hour, featuring all the prime characters performing 'I've Got the Music in Me'. Paralleling the corniness of the real life Brady Bunch show, it shows the family members leaving Kitty for better television opportunities, much like in her household how the children want to leave because of Red’s strict curfew.

By the end of the parody, she is left alone, apart from a surprise appearance from Charo. She can also be seen singing with Kitty on the end credits.
