20 DC Characters Who Could Yet Appear In Arrow And The Flash

13. Hunter Zolomon

Superman Harley Quinn
DC Comics

While Eobard Thawne is the best known Reverse-Flash, Zolomon is another yellow-adorned speedster with a mighty chip on his shoulder. The guys behind The Flash show have already said how further speedsters are under consideration for Season 2 of the show, and Zolomon, also known as simply Zoom, could be a prime candidate.

Now one school of thought, and one that could very well come to be, is that The Flash’s Eddie Thawne could very well end up being the show’s adaptation of Zolomon. In terms of characteristics, Hunter Zolomon was at one point an FBI agent (Eddie Thawne works for the CCPD) and became a friend of Wally West (substitute him for the show’s Barry Allen), even finding out that Wally West was The Flash (much like Eddie has recently found out Barry’s secret in the show).

That’s just part of the story, but you can certainly see that there are some similarities. Ever since Rick Cosnett was announced as played Eddie Thawne in The Flash, fans have presumed that the character will end up being a Reverse-Flash.

Maybe he will, but just not in the way you thought he would be, as in not just simply the show’s version of Eobard Thawne (which is already playing out elsewhere in the series).
