20 Doctor Who Actors Who Appeared in Sherlock

19. John Sessions

Another voice only crossover, John Sessions first appeared in Sherlock only to later lend his vocal talents to Doctor Who. Sessions also featured in The Great Game as Kenny Prince, the brother of murdered reality show host Connie Prince who Sherlock deduces is actually his sister's killer. Over on the Doctor Who front, Sessions can be heard in last year's Mummy On The Orient Express as the chirpy-voiced yet malevolent AI Gus who lures the Doctor and Clara to the Orient Express in space to face the deadly Foretold. In real life, Sessions is a massive Sherlock Holmes fan, having played both Sir Joseph Bell, the actual inspiration for the character of Holmes, and Arthur Conan Doyle, Holmes' creator.
