1. Miss Robichaux's Academy In Louisiana Is Real

Miss Robichaux's Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies is the key location in the third season of American Horror Story. Obviously €“ it's a school for witches, like a twisted version of Hogwarts or the Xavier school from X-Men, and the season's name is Coven. What you might not know is that you can visit the real-life academy. Found at Buckner Mansion, at 1410 Jackson Avenue in New Orleans' Garden District, you can stay at the magnificent, spooky building for a few thousand dollars a night. The mansion has a real history of strange goings on tying into the state's history of witchcraft and the supernatural, which you can order too. According to a posting for the Buckner Mansion on a property site, the one-of-a-kind building offers marble fireplaces, private gated parking on the grounds for up to three vehicles, and barbecue and Ghosts on request. Must've saved on FX's special effects budget, throwing the last one in for free...
