It's true what they say; Betty White makes everything better.

A lot of movies and shows that have Betty White on are basically doing so because - well, she's Betty White. They want a kooky old lady that will say funny things and nothing else. It's more about promoting the actress than giving her a character with substance to work with.

Community decided that if they were going to have a comedy legend on their show they were going to give her something memorable to do, and boy did it work. As the unorthodox professor of anthropology Professor June Baur, Betty White shot Starburns in the face with a blow dart, rapped with Troy and Abed, and drank her own urine.
