There are bloodbaths and there is the Hannibal season two finale; this cliffhanger was so shocking and so gruesome it has left audiences questioning if anyone was left alive. Viewers had already been teased by the season opening fight between Hannibal Lecter and Jack Crawford, so the anticipation going into that final episode, with Jack and Will Graham setting the 'trap' for Hannibal, was electric. A villain as good as Hannibal wouldn't fall so easily and audiences witnessed an hour of shocking twists as Jack lay bleeding to death, Hannibal gutted Will, Abigail Hobbs returned only to die at Hannibal's hands and Alana Bloom was thrown out of a window, crippling if not killing her. Then just when everyone thought it was all over, Hannibal's psychiatrist Bedelia Du Maurier revealed herself to be on Hannibal's side and they flew off to a new life together. None of the good guys survived season two unscathed. Now it just remains to see who survived at all. Summer 2015 is a long, long way away. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROwsgFLgJ60
