2. Walter White - Breaking Bad (Season 5, Episode 16)

Walter White's transformation from Mr. Chips into Scarface was a truly wild and entertaining journey to behold, though one that, by its nature, would probably not end well for 'ol Walt. The series finale, if not exactly mind-blowing, at least gave Walter the end he deserved while also allowing him to go out with his head held high. After the increasingly desperate and despicable nature of his actions, Walt ends up saving Jesse from Uncle Jack with the help of a machine gun mounted to his car, though in tackling Jesse to the ground, also ends up mortally wounded himself. He makes a tenuous peace with Jesse, gets his own back on Lydia, and also manages to ensure his family will be financially taken care of. The final scene of the series has Walt admiring the meth-making equipment which took him on this journey in the first place, before collapsing to the ground from his wound, and expiring just as the police enter the lab. The use of Badfinger's Baby Blue perfectly summed up what the finale seemed to say: Walt got what he deserved.
