Tired of Jake's immature behavior in season one, Captain Holt decides he will have to babysit him on every one of his cases until Jake can do his job perfectly. Jake is chagrined to hear that Holt will be accompanying him on a stakeout since it means he won't be able to sing along to a mix tape he made of some explicit rap music. Andy Samberg singing along to his own mix tape of explicit rap is a cleverly disguised reference to his own rap group, The Lonely Island.
