Orphan Black's star really deserves more love. Rumours that she was to appear in one of the upcoming Star Wars spin-offs came to naught, she was only given a two-episode cameo on Parks And Recreation, and she's perennially snubbed at all the big award ceremonies for TV actors the Emmys, the Golden Globes, and so on. Which sucks because Tatiana Maslany gives more for her show than perhaps any other actor on television. Besides the varied amount of characters she portrays on the show which has to be a substantial workload, not only carrying Orphan Black on her shoulders but a dozen noticeably different shoulders she also bleeds for it. Literally as well as figuratively. Indeed you can see in the second episode of the first season, Instinct, that Maslany genuinely injured her hand whilst trying to bust open the briefcase Sarah Manning stole from her mysterious, deceased double Elizabeth Childs. That injury can be seen throughout the episode, including at the beginning when she gets out of the car and answers the phone because the show's filmed out of order.
