4. Lucy Was Almost Amy
This one certainly would have been a bit weird given her later role, but actress Kate Micucci nearly got the part of Amy Farrah Fowler. Although he was unsuccessful in her audition for Amy, the producers were nevertheless impressed and kept the actress in their minds for future roles. When the character of Lucy came up, they couldnt think of anyone better to play her and she was cast as the shy love interest for Raj.
