20 Mind-Blowing Facts You Never Knew About Sherlock

15. Watson Made Sherlock Watch James Bond (And Molly Made Moriarty Watch Glee)

On top of the nine (can you believe it's that few) episodes of the show, BBC has created a range of tie-in media that provide some exciting pieces of background info on the characters and their interactions off screen. There's Sherlock: The Casebook, a behind-the-scenes guide that includes Watson's in-universe scrapbook and a couple of websites - John's Blog and Sherlock's The Science of Deduction. Answering just about any obscure question you may have about the characters and their adventures, they're great expansions of the world. One of the most interesting things that can be gleaned from them is some information of the crime-solving duo's downtime; John made Sherlock watch James Bond (he didn't care for it). This contrasts hilariously with Moriarty, who while in the fake relationship with Molly was forced to watch Glee. Bond actually had quite a strong grasp on the show in general, but we'll get to that later.
