20 Mind-Blowing Facts You Didn’t Know About Family Guy
4. The Voice Actors Almost Make As Much As The Simpsons'
As a central part of what makes an animated series work, it's only expected for the voice actors to start asking for a little more money as a show's popularity grows. The main Simpsons cast originally made $30,000 per episode, but over time (after all hell broke loose and strikes almost happened) that ballooned to $400,000, before recently being reduced to $300,000 to keep the show running (although that is still a ridiculously high amount).
As a typically smaller show (even at its height Family Guy couldn't match Matt Groening's yellow people), the Family Guy cast tended to make less, although a development in 2013 has meant that Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis and Mike Henry now all make $225,000 per episode, not considerably less than their Animation Domination partners. The only major player who didn't get a raise was Seth MacFarlane, who was obviously already raking it in as a producer.
