20 Mind-Blowing Facts You Didn't Know About The Walking Dead

17. Carl Had To Eat A Lot Of Pudding

Having become desensitised, over the course of five seasons, to the horrors of the post-apocalytpic, zombie-strewn America €“ principally, all the amazing gore the special effects people manage to put together, with walkers falling apart as often as humans €“ it takes a lot for viewers of The Walking Dead to be disgusted. So it's surprising that, after hitting hard with the bicycle zombie in the pilot and taking the nastiness in a bold new direction with essentially everything The Governor did (including those office decorations), what made the audience feel sick this past season was just Carl eating pudding. Over the course the mid-season four premiere, the younger Grimes ate a giant, 112-oz can of pudding in its entirety. All the more impressive is actor Chandler Riggs had to actually eat that much for the shoot. Poor beggar.
