As the show continued the ratings began to decrease, despite going from strength to strength in terms of quality. By the time its run on Fox was coming to end, it was barely bringing in 2 million viewers, with She Swill Survive And The Longest Distance Relationship (the latter the finale of Season 10) being the worst with only 2.36 million apiece.

There'd been a steady decrease throughout the final couple of years, with the show regularly going below the 4 million that it so rarely did before. You can see why Fox were happy to see the show move to TBS; even The Simpsons at its lowest ebb never sunk that low. For the smaller TBS, however, these sort of numbers are great.
