20 Mind-Blowing Facts You Never Knew About Lost

7. ...And Dead Is Dead Is The Least

ABC

You wouldn'€™t expect a show that requires such devoted following like Lost to fluctuate that much in viewership, but clearly not everyone was too fussed about missing a key part of the mystery. Many people left the show as it continued to be drawn out - Season 3 (a favourite of mine) lost a key chunk of the audience and while Season 4 brought some back, it eventually plateaued out around the 10 million mark.

But even them some people just seemed to watch flippantly. The ratings for the show could vary by as much as 2 million, meaning there was a good chunk of the audience who just weren't that bothered. This was most pronounced in Season 5, where Dead Is Dead (a cracking Ben centric episode) got only 8.56 million tuning in, a tiny amount compared with Man Of Science, Man Of Faith.
