6. Final Destination Was Supposed To Be An X-Files Episode
There are many proposed scripts for the show that, for one reason or another, never made it into the series, but none went on to do as much as Flight 180. Screenwriter Jeffrey Reddick wrote a script after reading about a woman who had refused to board TWA Flight 800 on the hunch of her mother. The plane crashed, and Reddick submitted a script about death catching up with people who've avoided it. Carter wasn't a fan, but his writing partners Morgan and Wong worked with him to eventually turn it into Final Destination.
