20 Movies Starring Arrow Actors In 2016

4. The Binding (Amy Gumenick)

Now The Binding is a film that I€™ve actually managed to get an early watch of myself. The film is currently looking for a widespread distribution deal, and the plan is to give it a full release in 2016 should all go well. The basic plot focusses on a heavily religious married couple who are given the ultimate test of faith as an entity claiming to be God visits the husband and tells him that he needs to kill his own daughter in order to stop the upcoming apocalypse. Whilst Leon Russom plays the possessed husband, it€™s Amy Gumenick as Sarah who is the star of the movie, putting in a fantastic, multi-faceted performance in Gus Krieger€™s tense, intriguing movie. To date, Gumenick is best known for her appearances in Arrow as the Emerald Archer-obsessed rogue Cupid, last seen as a member of the Suicide Squad. The Binding is certainly worth a watch, so here€™s hoping that the film can finalise a general 2016 release and that Gumenick€™s career can really take off as a result. Release Date: TBA
