20 Superstar Actors You Didn't Know Do Commercial Voiceovers

4. Julia Roberts €“ AOL

Julia Roberts€™s star may have faded a wee bit over the past decade but make no mistake about it €“ she is Hollywood royalty through and through. Roberts consistently ranked as the number one actress on the Hollywood Reporter power list for a number of years. Her films have raked in literally billions and billions of dollars, and she is an academy award winning legend who still has a long career ahead of her. So the question must be asked again €“ why? How can she possibly need to do any sort advertising? You can€™t say that it is because she loves the product. In a 2014 interview she articulated on why she is so noticeably absent from the online community stating €˜I haven't chosen to not be a part of it, I kind of just don't get it.€™ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSFxDz2nO8M She doesn€™t get the internet, but she sells it? It seems kind of greedy considering that she absolutely doesn€™t need the money. Although considering how much her male co-stars do it, I admit that it€™s incredibly hypocritical to hold her to a different standard. (Note: the version above has been tweaked slightly from the original by a fan who kind of felt that AOL€™s message was not entirely accurate. But you still get Julia Roberts untouched in it).
