9. His Parents Didnt Make A Big Deal Of His Small Stature
Dinklage's parents were a forward thinking couple. They encouraged a young Dinklage to advocate for himself; if something was on a high shelf, he was expected to climb up there and get it. They never brought up his height as a negative or a hindrance. Still, Dinklage held on to some resentment and anger as he grew up. "As an adolescent, I was bitter and angry, and I definitely put up these walls," Dinklage said. "But the older you get, you realize you just have to have a sense of humor. You just know that its not your problem. Its theirs."
