20 Things You Somehow Missed In Breaking Bad

19. Walter White Takes On Characteristics Of His Victims

Breaking Bad Jesse Gale
AMC

An odd motif that recurs throughout the series sees Walt ends up taking on various characteristics of his victims after he kills them.

It first occurs with his first victim, Krazy-8, who demands his sandwiches’ crusts be cut, and Walt goes on to do the same practise. Then, after he has killed Gus, he takes on a ritual where he puts a towel down before he vomits, something that Gus did when he was poisoned.

Further evidence to support this motif comes with how Walt changes his style of drink - after he kills Mike, he takes ice in his drink, a signature of Mike’s.

Cameron Mcmurdie hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
