21 Problems Only Friends Fans Will Understand

12. Being Called A Total [Insert Character As Applicable]

NBC

Being completely neurotic and obsessive about something? You're a total Monica. Making terrible jokes, or reacting to situations in the worst, most awkward way possible? Such a Chandler. Are you the totally nerdy, sciencey one of the group, who just so happens to love getting married? You're the Ross. Pretty, with great fashion sense, but also high-maintenance? You're a Rachel. Slightly weird, not quite on the same planet as everyone else, singing songs about cats with questionable hygiene? Hey Pheebs. Love food, especially pizza and sandwiches; a little bit dumb; total womaniser? Joey, how you doin'?

It's something we've all experienced, calling someone a certain character, or being called one yourself by a friend. In your head you probably have an idea of who you are, and it's probably Chandler or Joey, and then someone tells you that you're being a Monica (not to be confused with pulling a Monica) and you simply cannot comprehend it, even though at heart you know it's probably true.
