21 Problems Only Friends Fans Will Understand

15. You Can't Take Sushi Seriously...

NBC

Sushi is great, isn't it? It's delicious, and healthy, and comes in small portions so you can eat lots of it. The idea of going for sushi is generally an excellent one, until you remember Friends. More specifically, you remember 'unagi', the state-of-mind that Ross claims to have that gives him total awareness, making it impossible for him to be attacked by surprise.

Rachel and Phoebe aren't convinced though, stating that it's an eel dish served in sushi restaurants. Later, when the girls do manage to scare Ross, Rachel says: "Salmon skin roll." It's likely you'll find at least one of the options on the menu at your local Japanese restaurant, and even likelier that you won't be able to go without referencing (and laughing about) this episode.
