Little Voices will be a musical comedy/drama that serves as "a love letter to the diverse musicality of New York" and will look at the journey everyone goes on of finding who they are in their 20s, with Abrams also teasing it'll be a funny and romantic look at a woman finding her voice through music. Bareilles and Nelson worked together on Broadway hit Waitress, and the former will be writing new, original music for the series, though it's unclear if she'll also act.
