1. The Big Character Death Has Real Impact

And finally, when Legacy finally decides to go big, it actually works. The season finale has one pivotal character death that actually delivers the desired impact, resulting in the only real moment from the finale that's really much interesting.

It comes with a well-executed subversion of the typical silent clock reserved for iconic deaths, and while it won't stand tall among, say, the demises of Ryan Chappelle and Edgar Stiles from earlier seasons, the death scene is about as close as Legacy ever got to recapturing the terrifically engrossing drama of the Jack Bauer years.
