24. Titans
Titans kicked off the DC Universe era in rather bizarre fashion. A show nothing like what fans had expected (or hoped) it would be, the first season was a strange mismatch as DC Comics' most colourful superheroes found themselves in an unnecessarily colourless (and grim) world. And yet it gradually improved, getting more enjoyable with each passing episode until it ultimately found its footing at the conclusion of the season.
Season 2, however, took it to new heights as it finally found the right balance between light and dark as it delved into the history of the young heroes, answering long-teased questions and unveiling a mystery that proved to be one of the most compelling narratives on TV in 2019. And with strong performances all around, Titans finally ascended to greatness, becoming the enjoyably youthful show that fans always wanted it to be.
