25 Funniest Only Fools And Horses Moments
15. The Poker Game
In the early days of Only Fools, Boycie was portrayed almost as a villain and rival to Del Boy. The school friends seemingly didn't care for each other greatly, and when they arranged a 'friendly' poker game, it was more than just money on the line, it was pride.
At the end of the night, on the final hand of the game, Del calls what he thinks is Boycie's bluff, and since his opponent is far wealthier than the Trotters, has to gamble everything they own plus Trigger's car. It turns out Boycie wasn't bluffing, and when he lays his four Kings on the table the game appears to be over, since Del only had two pair.
But as Granddad says, Del always has something up his sleeve, namely his four Aces, beating Boycie and winning the night. The reaction of everyone involved makes this scene one of the best, as well as Del's perfect explanation for how he knew Boycie was cheating.
