6. Trigger's Broom
Trigger has always been one of the best sources of comedy for Only Fools and Horses, from the very start right to the end. Roger Lloyd Pack's deadpan delivery as Peckham's dopey road sweeper is perfectly matched with the dumbfounded reaction of those around him. There is no better example of this than when Trig received a medal in 'Heroes and Villains'.
Beaming with pride, he tells Del, Rodney, Boycie, and Sid about his medal, earned for using the same broom for 20 years, saving the council money. It isn't until he explains that his broom has had 17 new heads and 14 new handles over that 20 year span that the guys realise it's more of Trigger simply being Trigger.
