It may be slightly tainted by Abraham and Glenn's unnecessarily cruel deaths, but here's a reminder that Negan's initial introduction in the season six finale is actually fantastic, and holds up remarkably well.
To put it lightly, Rick and the group had been doing fairly well in season six, saving the day, destroying everyone that dares to cross them, and getting pretty damn cocky about it in the process. That's why it's so refreshing - if bleak - to see them so crushed by Negan's arrival.
