30 TV Shows That Will Kick-Ass In 2018

27. The Last O.G.

The Last OG Tracey Morgan
TBS

Four years after a serious traffic collision almost cost him his life, Tracey Morgan is returning to television with new series The Last O.G.

It'll also be a return for Morgan within the show too, as it sees him play a character who returns to the outside world after a 15-year stint in prison. He finds out how much the world has changed, and that his ex-girlfriend is now raising their twin sons with a rich white man.

It'll touch on topics of race, generation gaps, and the prison system while ensuring Morgan's own larger-than-life person shines through. If that's not enough, it'll co-star 2017's breakout actor Tiffany Haddish, and has been co-created by 2017's breakout director Jordan Peele (along with John Carcieri), while Cedric the Entertainer will also star in the TBS series.

Air Date: April 3
