30 WTF Moments From Arrow's Season 4 Premiere

3. Working With The Devil

Oliver Queen Arrow Season 4
The CW

Say what?! Captain Lance, one of the biggest protectors of Star City, is revealed to be working alongside uber-villain Damien Darhk?!

In a mighty swerve, one of the climactic scenes of Green Arrow sees the revelation that, yes, Lance is indeed involved in some sort of working relationship with the season’s ‘big bad’.

That in itself throws up a whole plethora of questions, such as how does Lance feel that daughter Laurel is firmly in Darhk’s crosshairs, is there any personal vendetta from Lance against Oliver Queen, is Lance simply another bent cop who can be bought, does Damien Darhk have Lance’s hands tied, is Quentin setting the rogue up for an almighty fall, or is there something more?

All we get from the exchange is that Captain Lance better do what Damien says or else things will get messy.
