18. Captain Levi Vs. The Female Titan
Even though the show's main protagonist is clearly Eren Jaeger, it would be difficult to call him a "fan-favourite". In fact, most AoT fans hated Eren during the beginning of the show due to his brattiness and propensity to make stupid decisions.
The person that actually received the adulation usually reserved for the main character has to be Captain Levi Ackerman. As we go down this list, you'll see plenty of awesome moments featuring Levi, but this was the first instance where fans of AoT got to see how badass he actually is.
Wit Studio did a fantastic job of making The Female Titan just as threatening as her Marleyan comrades, so watching the tiny, yet extremely dangerous Levi systematically take her down was not only incredibly awesome, but a sign of things to come.
