Killed By: Daryl Dixon Back in season two, stuck on Hershels farm, Dale became a late night snack for one walker. As the group deliberate what to do with Randall, the prisoner captured after shooting at Rick, Glenn and Hershel, they initially side with Shanes desire to kill him. Dales pleas to spare him fall on deaf ears, with only Andrea backing him. As such, Dale refuses to have any part and storms out. Now during the day a much younger Carl, rummaging through Daryls things, pockets his gun and takes off into the woods. Its here he finds a helpless walker, trapped in the mud and unable to reach him. Instead of using him for target practice, Carl decides to throw rocks at it. Finally raising the stolen gun, the walker manages to free itself and lunge at Ricks son, sending him fleeing off into the woods. Unfortunately for Dale, it was this walker who found him alone at the bottom of Hershels fields. After ripping open Dales stomach, the walker is killed by Daryl. When the remainder of the group reach him, its clear he isnt going to make it. As Rick, feeling guilty over the days events, tries to build up the courage to pull the trigger, Daryl takes over, putting Dale out of his misery. Dales death had a big impact in both the comics and TV, despite their completely different story. After receiving a bite on the shoulder, Dale is captured by the Hunters, who proceed to eat half of his leg, before running into Rick, Michonne, Abraham, and Andrea, who proceed to kill the entire group, before Andrea pulls the trigger once and for all. Is this the fate that awaits Beth in the TV series? Her unexplained disappearance certainly means this is a possibility.
