2. Man Vs Food
When you think of kick ass food shows the first show that pops into your mind is (or should be) Man Vs Food, right? Hosted by the ever expanding Adam Richman this is not a cookery show per se but instead is a video presentation of one lucky American who gets to live every man's dream by travelling across America sampling the finest foods on offer and taking on the impossible in-house challenges each backstreet Diner has to offer. Notable challenges Richman has attempted in his Man Vs Food quest include the extra spicy 'Burger From Hell', Atomic Chicken Wings, deep-fried Kielbasa sausage on a bun topped with French fries, coleslaw, pulled pork shoulder and hot sauce and Meatballs the size of softballs. Buy the end of season 3 Richman had defeated food on several occasions giving him a 62% success rate before he was forced to retire due to concerns for his health (and waistline). The show continues to this day but has a whole new format. Although it is still compulsive viewing there's nothing quite like seeing the look on Adam Richman's mush as he is 'forced' to eat anything and everything that's put in front of him.
