5 Best Moments Of The IT Crowd To Celeberate Final Episode

2. Roy Pretending To Be Disabled

In the opening episode of Series Two, "The Work Outing", Jen is invited out on a date by "Phillip from Six". Thrilled, her face soon falls when Roy and Moss bring into question the heterosexuality of her new man after he was seen reading a copy of Heat magazine. Determined to prove them wrong, Jen brings them with her during her date, which is at a theatre where a production of "Gay! €“ A Gay Musical" is being shown. During the intermission, Roy and Moss go to the toilet but are put off by the attendant and use the disabled and staff lavatories, respectively, leading to hilarity. Mistaking the emergency cord for the toilet flush, Roy alerts attention and the staff, mistaking him as disabled and thinking he's in danger, break the door down, leading to Roy's pretence that he really is disabled to avoid getting into trouble. Meanwhile, Moss is also mistaken as a staff member and completes a shift at the bar as Roy is driven off to Manchester as part of a gay disabled men's group and Jen being informed by Phillip that he really is gay and had hoped the date would work because she "sort of looks like a man".
