5 Characters Marvel Need To Add To Their Netflix Shows
4. J. Jonah Jameson
One of the things that Marvel's Netflix shows have been consistently showing is the reactions and opinions of the general public in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to the emergence of superheroes. The only other real exploration into this was the Vulture's story arc in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
In order to properly consolidate the voices of the people and their apprehensions to the emergence of superheroes the people need a voice, a loud voice. The perfect man for the job is obviously fan favourite J. Jonah Jameson.
Jameson's angry aversion to these new heroes' reckless abandon and his forthright opinions on the societal repercussions to civilians that they rarely consider would provide an exceptional backdrop for any of the series going forward. It could take a similar format to the radio segments from Jessica Jones but without any direct involvement with any of the heroes in particular.
After all, who could ever get tired of Jameson behind a desk with his sleeves rolled up demanding pictures of Spider-Man?
