5 Kids TV Characters Who Could Be Reimagined As Horror Movie Villains

1. Worzel Gummidge (Worzel Gummidge)

worzel This could be absolutely terrifying. Jon Pertwee's Worzel Gummidge was enough to scare some children even in its original, harmless and supposedly child-friendly form, so reimagining the character as a horror movie killer could be horrific. He was a scarecrow who resided on Scatterbrook Farm and had the unique distinction of being able to come to life. He spent the majority of his time trying to win the affections of Aunt Sally - a fairground doll who could also come to life and was pretty damn creepy herself. That said, no character was creepier than Worzel himself. He had an eerie set of interchangeable heads that he would use for particular occasions and to express specific emotions. As a horror movie killer, he would be extremely frightening. The picture of him standing lifeless in a field as the sun went down, knowing he'd awaken when it got dark, would be an extremely haunting one. His interchangeable heads could be utilised in killing scenes, with the idea of a 'murder face' being particularly awful. And let's face it, nobody wants to see that face (see picture above) staring at them on a dark night. Did you like this article?
