1. The Doctor (Doctor Who)
Who else? With Peter Capaldi having just been announced as the next Doctor, all eyes are on the Whoniverse, and if SHIELD could cast their eyes in the same direction the Doctor is surely somebody they'd want to have on board. The Doctor would offer the group a level of intellect way beyond that of even Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. He'd also look at SHIELD's technology and think it was obsolete! While Stark and Banner would look at the TARDIS in pure amazement. He would ensure that the Avengers were always one step ahead of their opponents when it came to their preparation and he'd always have counter-measures in place. I also imagine that his interactions with Stark would be nothing short of hilarious, while he could reminisce with Captain America about World War II.
