Fallon seems to have a great relationship and rapport with all sorts of people in the entertainment industry. He is already known for booking guests for full-week stints on his show €“ most recently Justin Timberlake €“ and for convincing performers like Paul McCartney to participate in segments. Were he to take the Tonight Show chair, the relationships he has established would serve him well. Rather than occasionally having a noteworthy guest, Fallon seems able to maintain a steady stream of high-profile, recurring guests that will attract more viewers.
