5 Reasons You Should Watch The Man In The High Castle
3. Something for everyone
Obviously, there is a certain demographic of people who should already be interested in this show and really don't need to be reading this list (but fair enough if the countless positive reviews from almost every review site don't sway you!) .
If you like Blade Runner, Minority Report, Game Of Thrones and Doctor Who, you will love this show. It's a sci-fi fan's absolute dream. It's a big budget alternate history epic, detailing a scenario many have wondered about: what would life have been like had the Nazis won World War II?
However, this isn't to suggest that's the only reason you should want to give it a watch.
Are you a fan of shows like CSI or True Detective? Then you'll love the parts of this show following Chief Inspector Kido and Obergruppenfuhrer John Smith as they struggle to track down conspiracies within their respective governments and help those they care about at the same time.
Maybe you're more of a romantic? Then watch as Juliana Crane and John Frink (and later on Joe Blake... and a few others) balance their love for each other whilst also trying to topple two great empires that dominate their homeland.
Or are you more of a fan of House of Cards (either the American or British version)? You'll be enthralled in the political games of cat and mouse that are played in the respective governments of the German and Japanese Empires. Backs are stabbed, and the blackmail is of the darkest quality.
The Man In The High Castle truly is a show that everyone can enjoy... except children, as this show gets very, VERY dark - as to be expected in a world where the awful policies of the Nazi party were carried to full fruition.
