A face-painting, recovering germaphobe car salesman having his own spin-off? Call me crazy, but it could have worked. He only appeared in 11 episodes, but certainly made an impression via his on-again-off-again relationship with Elaine. At the end of Seinfeld, Elaine was off to jail for a year, and had instructed David Puddy not to wait for her.
