2. More Acting Success For Sally And Barry
One of the most interesting aspects of Barry is how it manages to be many things at once - it is a black comedy, a dark character study, but also, a satire about the acting business.
The show often mocks the pretensions of the actors, especially Sally and Gene, and how often driven actors are quite unsuccessful in their quest for a career.
However, towards the end of last season, Sally started to receive a higher acclaim and popularity, especially after her performance at the play. It would be really interesting to see her get actual success in the business, and how this would affect her relationship with Barry.
It would also be really interesting to see Barry get some success as well, especially as he has grown as an actor over the past two seasons.
Either way, a lot more satire about the movie business would be great to see.
